The sun was out of sight. It wasn't even noon, but the clouds had already blocked the sun's radiance with their brooding dullness.
Cassandra was still in bed. She really didn't see a reason to get up just yet. She placed the notebook on her bedside table, and yawned. She picked up a small, stuffed lamb from her bed and hugged it. She smiled tiredly and looked out the window. All she saw was gray. Her smile faded. She hoped it wouldn't rain.

Cassandra couldn't sleep. She turned over in bed, and flicked on her bedside lamp. The light blinded her momentarily. She reached under her pillow and grabbed the bright yellow notebook again. She had already read it's contents over and over again, but she couldn't help it.
The handwriting was neat, but it was obvious the person was in a hurry when they wrote it. The writing was divided into three separate sections. The first section was in black ink, the second in blue, and the third and final in black again. The second, blue sectio
